X-Force Movie: 10 Characters Who Must Be Included

9. Rictor

rictor You know one of the problems with most superhero movies? They€™re pretty lily-white. But X-Force actually has quite a diverse cast of characters, and that€™s something that should definitely be exploited. It will also be a running theme throughout this article as I go through the different characters I want to see. To kick that off, let€™s take a look at Rictor. Julio Esteban Richter (yeah, the name is a bit on-the-nose) is the son of a Mexican arms dealer and possesses seismic powers. Originally a prisoner of an anti-mutant group called The Right, Rictor was set free by X-Factor and became one of their trainees and then later joined the New Mutants. He left the group briefly and returned shortly after they became X-Force, where he instantly began a friendship with Shatterstar. Over time, there were some inklings that their relationship was more than platonic, but these were mostly subtle until recently when Peter David in X-Factor had the characters share a kiss. Rictor provides diversity on two different levels. Not only is he a Latino character (and as far as I know, we haven€™t seen any Latino superheroes in the movies), but he€™s also bisexual, something we also haven€™t seen in superhero movies.
