X-Force Movie: 10 Characters Who Must Be Included

8. Shatterstar

shatterstar Speaking of diversity, now we come to a character who isn€™t even a mutant (technically, Deadpool isn€™t either, but his healing factor was derived from Wolverine€™s). Shatterstar isn€™t even from Earth. He€™s an alien warrior from Mojoworld (and is actually from the future of that world). Created to be an arena gladiator, Shatterstar is a born warrior who traveled through time and space to enlist the X-Men€™s help in overthrowing Mojo. Instead, he found X-Force and joined their ranks. Although initially created as asexual, Shatterstar developed feelings and a relationship with Rictor, as stated earlier. But in addition to that, in X-Factor, Peter David has indicated that a combination of Shatterstar€™s long period of asexuality combined with prolonged exposure to Earth€™s customs (as well as his relationship with Rictor) have changed him and made him much more sexually open, even polyamorous. Beyond the character potential, Shatterstar also opens up the world of the mutants to the potential for the Mojoworld to make an appearance. Although long-established within the X-Men, it is highly unlikely that either Mojo or Longshot, an X-Man who hails from the Mojoworld, will ever appear in the main X-Men films. But X-Force would have a lot more freedom to explore that world, especially through Shatterstar.
