Laura Kinney took the world by storm earlier this year in Logan, with Dafne Keen's performance having been singled out for particular praise during the film's long and critically acclaimed stint in theatres.
While Fox's plans for the character aren't clear at this point, it would be a massive shame if X-23 didn't make another appearance at some point or another. Granted, Logan does take place in the near future, but who's to say that X-Force can't either? Laura doesn't seem likely to sit idly by why the US is torn apart by anti-mutant prejudice, and - once her and the rest of the Canada-bound mutants recover - a resistance movement must surely be on the cards.
We'd love to see Keen back in the role, but if they're looking to retire the character altogether, that'd be fine too.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
