X-Men: 10 Major Plot Holes Days Of Future Past Created

4. How Did Magneto Originally Escape The Pentagon?

The stand out scene of the movie is undoubtedly Quicksilver aiding the X-Men in breaking their nemesis Magneto out of the Pentagon. We're told that Erik was serving a life sentence for supposedly assassinating JFK. Turns out he was trying to save him, but that actually raises far more questions than we have time for. So Quicksilver busts Magneto out of his cell and then disappears for the rest of the film, despite proving himself to be extremely useful. But what we want to know is how Magneto escaped without Quicksilver? It was Wolverine who traveled back in time and convinced Charles and Hank McCoy to free Erik. It was Wolverine who suggested tracking down Quicksilver, and of course it was Quicksilver who played the most vital part of all. But if Wolverine never came back to the past, how did Erik originally escape his life sentence? Maybe Mystique could have broken him out, but we'll never know for sure. Also, we're being really nitpicky here, but when did Erik find the time to father a son? Especially one that only looks about ten years younger than him?

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
