X-Men: 10 Theories For How They Can Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe

This may seem drastic, but what if Marvel Studios just reboots the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The perfect time to do that would have been at the end of Avengers: Endgame, of course, but the Fox/Disney merger wasn't a done deal when the movie was in production.

There are other ways to achieve this, though, and it wouldn't necessarily have to mean wiping out past adventures from continuity or recasting every single role. The MCU would just need to be refreshed somewhat, with what's become known as a "soft reboot" that could reshape this comic book universe, and effortless bring both the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the fold with little to no hassle.

A major game-changing event would be needed to make this happen, so perhaps more time-travel, the merging of multiple realities, or an event like Secret Wars could be used? Any one of those could make great use of baddies like The Beyonder, Kang the Conqueror, and Galactus, all of whom are long overdue for their respective big screen debuts at this point.
