X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Big Storylines That Should Come Next
2. Old Man Logan
If Hugh Jackman truly does want to play the part of Logan long into his dotage, well, you might as well give it to him. Whether they wait for the actor to be old enough or do some fun make up stuff, a great way to cap off the X-Men franchise somewhere down the line would be to adapt Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's Old Man Logan miniseries to the screen or at least, elements of it. As usual with Millar, there's plenty of bad ideas mixed in with the occasional flashes of good the idea of an elderly Wolverine making his away across an irradiated post-apocalypse is neat, Hulk's inbred redneck family less so with Old Man Logan essentially operating as a better version of his Wanted, also loosely adapted for film. Like Wanted, Old Man Logan sees a world where the supervillains teamed up to rid the world of their heroic nemeses. Being nigh-on indestructible, Wolverine is the only one left, teaming up with a blind Hawkeye to deliver a mysterious package. Chuck that out, though, and focus on the core idea of Mad Max starring Wolverine now that's rad.
