X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Mutants It Should Introduce
2. X-23
What's her deal: Speaking of gender-swapped Logans...that's basically what X-23 is. Was. Still is? She was also introduced in X-Men Evolution before making the leap to the comic books in the series NYX, about young mutants struggling to get by in New York. At first it was theorised she was Wolverine's daughter, before it turned out she was just a clone. Urgh, clones. Created using a damaged copy of Wolverine's genome, X-23 was created to be the perfect killing machine, and operate for a long time as a top-notch assassin. She has the claws and everything! Well, only two, for some reason. Then she decided to go straight. Why should she appear: Again, if Jackman's out, you need somebody to go swinging claws around, barely keeping animal instincts at bay. Swapping out a middle-aged duded for a young woman wouldn't go amiss either, and she even has the mysterious past thing going for her. You could even use the introduction of X-23 here as the jumping off point for the upcoming third Wolverine solo film!
