X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Mutants It Should Introduce

1. Maggott

What's his deal: This idea they may be slightly less crazy about, but just hear it out. Maggott is one of the more unusual X-Men to appear over the years. Yes, more unusual than a guy who fires lasers out of his eyes. Yes, more unusual than a guy who looks like a blue devil and can teleport. Yes, more unusual than Adam X The X-Treme. Because Maggott's mutant power is...well... Japheth was a flamboyant South African mutant whose digestive system was not inside him. Instead it took the form of two maggots, which could eat through any substance, before reentering his abdomen and giving him superpowers somehow. He was pretty gross, and served under Magneto for a while. Why should he appear: Because he's fantastically disgusting that's why. Maggots instead of a digestive system? Is that even a superpower? How does that help anyone? No idea. But it'd be amazing to see that sort of David Cronenberg-style body horror in a multi-million dollar blockbuster movie, and that's why it needs to happen.
