X-Men: Apocalypse - 12 Big Questions That Still Need Answering

1. Who Will Play Apocalypse?

MarvelMarvelWith the X-Men Cinematic Canon€™s biggest competitor, Marvel€™s Cinematic Universe, dipping back into the €˜80s for their big players; Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man and James Spader as Ultron, why not step up the friendly rivalry and do the same? First off, as the X-Men€™s biggest foe is without a head of hair, it€™d be fair to assume they€™ll cast someone to fit that primary physical requirement. Bruce Willis anyone? His career as of late has suffered a plague of sub-par guff as of late, with the revitalised Die Hard franchise hardly having returned him to his Pulp Fiction-era spotlight. But has he got the brawn? Action stalwart, Jason Statham, the gruff-voiced badass with enough sinewy brawn to take on the role could be just the guy to take on the part. Is he intimidating enough? The Rock would be a truly worthy opponent as Apocalypse. Crazily-built and normally cast in tough-but-nice roles, he€™s yet to be snapped up by Marvel like his Fast & Furious cohort, Vin Diesel. He€™s recently finished filming on Hercules, so he€™s already at the top of his game, weight-wise. It€™s always fun watching a gentle giant turn the world to dust.
