General fans of baldness and those dismayed by the sight of a luscious-haired young Prof X in the last two X-movies will be pleased to hear Xavier is finally succumbing to the hands of time in X-Men: Apocalypse. Ever prepared to document every single moment, Bryan Singer Instagrammed a photo of James McAvoy getting the Bic treatment on the set of Apocalypse just as filming was about to commence. It's unlikely Professor Xavier's shedding locks will have any relevance to the overall plot of Apocalypse. The pic is, however, evidence that McAvoy will be continuing his evolution into the Charles Xavier everyone is most familiar with in this film. It's also testament to the idea presented at the end of Days Of Future Past: that time is like a stream - throw a pebble in it and the water will just go around it then continue down its regular path. Clearly, even though the timeline has changed, Prof X was always destined to be chrome-domed.
