1. Quicksilver Might Be About To Find His Father
When Evan Peters' Quicksilver was first revealed, he was widely ridiculed by fans and dismissed as a rushed attempt by Fox to outshine the version Marvel Studios planned on introducing in Avengers: Age of Ultron. His one incredible scene in Days of Future Past did that all by itself, but one of his most interesting moments came when it was strongly hinted that this Quicksilver is indeed the son of Magneto. X-Men: Apocalypse plans to address that head on as it has been revealed that Quicksilver now knows who his father is and has spent the past decade looking for him. That's going to be very interesting to see play out, but perhaps even more exciting than that is the big action sequence which Singer has planned for the speedster in this movie. How big is it? Well, it took a mind-blowing thirty days to shoot the entire thing! Specifics on what that will involve haven't been revealed, but Peters explained that Quicksilver has moved on from his stealing days and actually has a much more significant over roll in X-Men: Apocalypse. That's definitely good news, though when and if we'll see him and his sister the Scarlet Witch uniting with their father to form the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, a la the X-Men comic books, remains to be seen at this point.
