X-Men: Apocalypse Leaked Trailer: 6 Things You Need To Know

Moira makes it clear that the cults she mentions view Apocalypse as the second coming or some sign of God. That obviously ups his importance factor from the very start, and it appears as if the movie will be depicting him as almost a religious figure to the world's mutants. 

"You are all my children, and you're lost because you follow blind leaders. Everything they've built will fall, and from the ashes of their world, we'll build a better one." 

This quote from Apocalypse could be taken in a number of ways, though it appears as if his desire to be the one leading the world's mutants is what will bring him into conflict with Charles Xavier in this movie (when he talks about "blind leaders", it's Charles' face that flashes up on screen). However, when he talks about building a new world from the ashes of the old one, that could actually relate to Jean's vision from the start of the trailer; Apocalypse wants to wipe out humanity for the mutants to take over. 

Why he would choose to return now isn't clear, but his group of followers is shown to consist of Archangel, Psylocke, Storm, and Magneto. However, with Professor X mentioning that Apocalypse can control mutants, it might be safe to assume they're not with him willingly. 

It's interesting that he's shown to have four followers here though; could they be his new Horsemen?
