9. Storm And Archangel

Why They Could Live: These two horsemen present the biggest quandaryof what to expect out of all the new characters. While traditionally depicted as two of the most storied X-Men, both Archangel and Storm will be present as Apocalypse's cronies. Nevertheless, they're such classic characters that it's hard to fathom their deaths this soon.

For Archangel, his arc seems to be just beginning; in the comics he spends a lot of timedealing with the lingering effects of Apocalypse's influence, making it hard to believe that they would get rid of him before delving into that journey.

In Storm's case, she was such a prominent member of the original series, that the idea of seeingher appear, as a villain no less, and then be cast aside doesn't really vibe with the way Singer has used her character in the past.

Why They Could Die:Regardless of their standing in the comics or the original film series, they're henchmen for the big bad and that's traditionally the most dangerous role to be in. Characters like Toad, Weapon XI, and Lady Deathstrike who have occupied similar roles in past X-Men films have all met harsh fates, and history would tell us that there's no room for these two bad mutants to survive the story.

Prediction:They both turn to the light and survive to join the new X-Men.
