X-Men: Dark Phoenix WonderCon Footage - 10 Reactions You Need To See

1. This Might Be The Best X-Men Movie In The Prequel Series

There are very few people who are expecting Dark Phoenix to end up in the top-tier of X-Men movies, occupied by the likes of Logan, X-Men 2, X-Men: First Class, and X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

But according to Geek Tyrant, it could end up sitting comfortably within those ranks come its June release.

While discussing the footage, the site noted that it looked "better than expected", which seems in line with the general consensus thus far (in fairness, with all the negativity surrounding this movie, the only place it could go was up). They also stated that Dark Phoenix could end up being the best in the series since First Class, extremely high praise considering Days Of Future Past's golden reputation:

"There was about ten to fifteen minutes of footage screened and for the most part… I liked what I saw! This might end up being the best X-Men movie since First Class."

Again, out-of-context footage is not reflective of the finished product, so it's important to not take positive early reactions as stone-cold truths (the same goes for negative reactions). Read what people think, respect their opinions, and judge the movie for yourself when you see it.

But for the first time in a while (or maybe for the first time ever) Dark Phoenix is showing some promise. Maybe Fox's X-Men run will end on a high note after all.
