X-Men Days Of Future Past: 20 Big Questions That Still Need Answers

3. Why Is Beast Seen In Human Form?

In First Class Hank took a serum to hide his mutation. Instead it exaggerated his mutation so that he grew blue fur and earned the nickname "Beast." But in a promo photo we see Hank in human form standing next to Wolverine in the 70s, which raises the question of why Hank is no longer a blue-furred animal. After all, Hank can't change back and forth at will in the comics. Either Xavier has given Hank a device to shield his appearance or is using some kind of mind trick to make Hank look human. There's also the possibility of Hank taking some serum that turns him back to his human form for short amounts of time. This would explain why he appears human talking on TV in X2 even though he's Beast in The Last Stand. We do know that we'll see Hank in Beast form during this film because in the trailer he is seen attacking Magneto. All we know is that it'll be fascinating and possibly really funny to see how the film plays with the two sides of Hank's personality €“ the reserved doctor and the animalistic Beast.

2. How Will It Tie Into X-Men: Apocalypse?

We live in a pop culture landscape where even before a film is released there's already talk about a sequel. Several months ago Singer announced via his Twitter feed that the next X-Men film would be called X-Men: Apocalypse and would be released in 2016. This set fans speculating about how Days of Future Past would eventually lead in to the introduction of the character Apocalypse. Apocalypse is an ancient mutant who was born thousands of years ago in Egypt. He was abandoned by his parents as an infant due to his unusual appearance. He was eventually taken in by a desert nomad named Baal who gave the name En Sabah Nur. When Nur attempted to woo General Ozymandias' sister Nephri she rejected him due to his appearance. This rejection unleashed Nur's mutant powers and he took the name of Apocalypse. Throughout the years Apocalypse makes different civilizations to treat him as a God, tricking them in to fighting wars. While Apocalypse likely won't appear in this film, we can expect at least a mid or post credits stinger, right?
