3. Beast Lives

The intention was to have Kelsey Grammer reprise his role as Beast in the future timeline - which is comically referenced when young Beast asks Wolverine frankly if he survives in the future, and receives a curt "no" in reply - but he was involved in shooting another, far less welcome sequel in Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) and couldn't commit. But he was clearly able to take some time off from Michael Bay's production as he appears in a short cameo in the film's epilogue, greeting Wolverine in the corridors of the Xavier Institute as he walks between lessons. Beast is one of the few surviving elements of The Last Stand, though it appears he's not working for the United Nations.
