True to form, Fox included a post-credits kicker, which, as expected, confirms the meaning of the upcoming sequel X-Men: Apocalypse. A young version of En Sabah Nur, otherwise known as Apocalypse, appears after what feels like the longest credits sequence ever, in a scene that shows an alternate history for the pyramids. As the camera tracks the pyramids being built, a crowd of followers chants En Sabah Nur's name, and as it closes in on the characters face, revealing it to be young and grey/blue. In the distance, the silhouette of his Four Horsemen henchman appear on the horizon. Hopefully, this means that we might get to see the likes of Archangel, Gambit and maybe even Wolverine being recruited as his henchmen, though you have to suspect that Singer will avoid the time-travelling element that sees Legion (Xavier's son) and Bishop go back to the past where the former assassinates Magneto, prompting Apocalypse's attack.
