7. Wolverine Is Taking The Reins
"So... I wake up in my younger body, and then what?" Who better than our main man Wolverine to lead the mission to prevent all-out war and save the world? Yes, according to the trailer, it's Logan who has been tasked with the movie's central time travel mission, and he'll be travelling back to the '70s in a bid to stop the destruction of the future at the hands of some almighty catastrophe. It's not difficult to see that he's brooding pretty hard at this point, though not enough to completely discard his trademark quips: "Patience isn't my strongest suit," he deadpans when Professor X asks him to be patient with his younger, James McAvoy-looking self over the course of the mission. Of course, Bryan Singer has made a purposely calculated and obviously smart movie putting Wolverine at the forefront of the action, given that he's by far the most popular X-Men character. Commence the badassery!
