X-Men: Days Of Future Past - 5 Reasons You Should Be Excited

1. The Return of Bryan Singer

9CA3A863F4FC3184276783183546 I guess we all knew this would be the one of the reasons why people should be excited for this film, but come on, it is still a good reason nonetheless. Singer's X-Men films started a revolution within the film industry. X-Men and X2 made people believe that comic book movies can be adapted in a way that can be taken seriously and allow to tell stories that no one else have ever experienced before. Now I know that Superman Returns is not exactly what we call "good", but Singer coming back as director and tell us another story of the mutant team can only be a good thing. The only person missing from this film is screenwriter David Hayter, who has written the first two along with other writers, but also has written films such as Watchmen and Scorpion King. Other than that this upcoming film will give me a great sense of nostalgia. Singer is one of those directors that can see beyond the limitations of comic books in terms of personality, story and the world itself and able to being a sense of realism while not giving up the more fantastical elements that brings awe to the audience. While most others like David Cronenberg, believes that these types of movies can be very limited in term of character development and story, Singer constantly finds a way to make a new path for us to follow.

Love to read comics and fantasy novels. Enjoy watching shows like Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. I really want to do something in the fantasy genre and create stories of my own.
