X-Men: Days Of Future Past Will Feature Bishop And Warpath, Bryan Singer Confirms

bishop warpath Director Bryan Singer has confirmed that notable X-Men characters Bishop and Warpath will make their debuts in the currently shooting X-Men: Days Of Future Past. This seemingly confirms the roles that French actor Omar Sy and Twilight star Booboo Stewart will be playing in the movie. Both men were cast a while ago, both have yet to have their parts officially disclosed, and both have significant physical resemblance to the comic book counterparts in question. Singer's latest reveal (via this Vine video below) of the chairs for the characters that we believe will be the apocalyptic/later era of the movie (i.e. -post-X-Men 3: The Last Stand timeline) showcases what will very much likely be the final cast for that section of the movie, which is why we are particularly certain this is who Sy and Stewart will be playing. Bishop is probably the most popular X-Men character yet to be adapted into a movie. Lucas Bishop is a brash antihero member of a futuristic dystopian mutant police force who views the original X-Men as legends. Warpath, real name James Proudstar, is an apache Native American who possess super strength and great speed and is brother to an as yet unused X-Men named Thunderbird. The full cast for X-Men: Days Of Future Past includes the return of the original stars Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Halle Berry (Storm), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde) and Daniel Cudmore (Colossus). From the recent X-Men: First Class prequel, returning are; James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast). New cast members include Peter Dinklage (as the main villain, his character not yet confirmed), Adan Canto, and Fan Bingbing (Blink).... along with Omar Sy and Booboo Stewart as, we think, Bishop and Warpath respectively. Directed by X-Men 1 and 2 helmer Bryan Singer, his first X-Men movie in over ten years, X-Men: Days Of Future Past comes to theatres on July 18th, 2014.
