X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Character Trailers Reveal LOTS Of New Footage

20th Century Fox have debuted three character trailers for X-Men: First Class at MTV - one each for Banshee, Havok and Beast - that showcases a ton of new footage, along with actual extended clips from the movie which are probably the first big indicators of the tone of Matthew Vaughn's prequel. Some of the scenes look a little hit or missey, especially the trailer for Beast and his discussion with Mystique about wanting to feel 'normal', which sounds so obviously banal that it suggests a screenwriter struggling to make his expository dialogue sound interesting or meaningful. Like a first draft that would be sexed up later but nobody ever bothered. The special effects all look great however and we are starting to get a real sense of James McAvoy's performance as Charles Xavier here and I think he's pulling it off great. X-Men: First Class opens now in less than a month's time.
