5. Lea Seydoux Will Play Gambit's Love Interest And Rival

Word has broken that Lea Seydoux would be joining Gambit as Belladonna, the titular hero's former sweetheart and sometimes enemy. Belladonna aka Bella, grew-up with Gambit, but in their adult years the pair speared-off in separate, though equally questionable directions. Gambit is the head of the Thieves Guild, whilst Bella holds similar court in the Assassins Guild. So yeah, quite the power couple. Gambit and Bella are generally pitched as adversaries, but have often come together to fight a larger evil. It's unclear how exactly their dynamic will play out in Gambit, but honestly, I can see the film utilizing both facets of their relationship. Seydoux looks poised as the second or third lead behind Tatum, so her role will likely be sizable whatever way the movie chooses to use her. There's certainly enough history between the two characters to create some juicy drama. Maybe they'll have a Romeo and Juliet thing going on, but with more ass-kicking?
