9. Robin Wright & Dave Bautista May Be Replicants In Blade Runner 2
We got two tantalising casting rumours for Denis Villeneuve's long-awaited Blade Runner sequel this week. Firstly, Robin Wright is apparently being circled for a role, which many have suspected will be a replicant given her penchant for playing icy characters (and you need look no further than her magnificent work on House of Cards).
Secondly, Dave Bautista Tweeted the above image of himself holding an origami unicorn with the caption, "I can't wait to share some really exciting news...", which seems to all-but-confirm that the former WWE superstar will be appearing in the movie. Considering that early drafts of Blade Runner 2 had Deckard facing off against a muscled replicant and Batista's not exactly heralded for his thesping skills, it would make sense that he's playing this part or something equivalent.
Of course, we could be wrong, but both of these casting picks just seem too pointed to be much else.
