Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist Tony Stark's alter ego started out life as a way for Stan Lee to approach the Cold War in a relatively child-friendly fashion, but in the nearly six decades since his first appearance, the character has taken on many new lives of his own.
For this quiz, we're considering the Marvel Cinematic Universe iteration of the character, in all his sharp, sassy glory - and material is in no short supply. From his humble, cave-based origins (in 2008's self-titled outing) through to his titan-smashing nanotechnology (in 2019's Endgame), Iron Man has constantly evolved, bringing new gadgets and technologies to the fore in the fight against Earth-based and intergalactic evil.
A founding member of The Avengers, and the spark that ignited the whole MCU, Tony Stark's supersuit has fronted the world's biggest franchise for over a decade, but all good things must come to an end. With a final finger snap and repeated defining declaration of his own personhood - "I am Iron Man." - we may, alas, have seen the last of him.
But, never fear, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and a multitude of multiverses from which our remaining Avengers, and especially the sorcerer Doctor Strange, might again pull a fully-functioning Robert Downey Junior.
