Zack Snyder's Justice League: All Characters Ranked Worst To Best

Ever since his first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor has been quite controversial amongst fans. While Eisenberg is certainly a brilliant actor, he just does not seem to fit the role of Superman's arch nemesis.

Said performance from Eisenberg is not aided by the fact that Luthor has little to no impact in either the theatrical cut or the Snyder Cut, besides an extended/slightly altered scene in this film where he reveals Batman's secret identity to Slade Wilson (setting up the proposed Batman film with Ben Affleck).

Besides some callbacks to Luthor's role in BvS and a brief glimpse of the character meeting Steppenwolf from the Ultimate Edition of that film, Luthor is barely seen and the film could have easily cut his role entirely.
