Zack Snyder's Justice League: All Characters Ranked Worst To Best
20. Henry Allen
Anyone who has watched CW's The Flash knows that Barry Allen's motivation throughout most of his life was to prove that his father was innocent of the murder of his mother. So, it makes sense that Barry's father Henry Allen (Billy Crudup) would appear in the film to set up some of Barry's backstory.
While his role is not extended or have any impact on the plot, Henry helps the character development of Barry by encouraging him to move on from his quest to prove Henry's innocence, with the journey of Barry strengthened by the two interactions with his father.
The exchange towards the end of the film between the pair brilliantly concludes Barry's compelling journey throughout the movie, perfectly showcasing a proud father and setting up a character fans will likely see more of in The Flash solo outing.
