Word got around the internet the other day that
Rob Zombie was to drop the iconic
John Carpenter score from his
Halloween remake. Needless to say this pissed a lot of people off, including Ray who I'm quite certain if he actually met him in real life, Zombie would probably be locked up in chains and buried alive with a Shatner mask. Anyway, Zombie has now debunked the story that originated in
MTV and has revealed that he hasn't actually dropped the Carpenter score, but dropped his own re-working of it!! PHEW, thank god! Sadly though, the Carpenter score might be the only good thing in this remake. I sincerely hope not and as Quint says over at
AICN, we don't want it to fail so we can say "I told you so", we wholeheartedly want it to be good but none of us in our wildest dreams think it is possible. source -
