One of the best Easter Eggs in the entire film sees the revival of Alan Tudyk's secondary villain from Frozen - the Duke of Weselton. Throughout that film, his home is incorrectly referred to as Weaseltown, and in Zootropolis, the character is reborn as an actual Weasle, whose surname (Weaselton) is mispronounced as Weselton. Talk about complex referencing.

Disney clearly has a thing for Tudyk: he's basically their equivalent of what John Ratzenberger does for Pixar, having now appeared in four consecutive Disney films as a bad guy.

There's another obscure Frozen reference - as Judy arrives in the city, she watches the residents of the frozen zone heading into work, and there are a pair of young elephants dressed as Anna and Elsa from Frozen...
