Way back in October 2018, footage leaked online of a new Harry Potter RPG in development at Avalanche Software (Disney Infinity) that was simply too persuasive to be fake.

Reportedly known in development as "Harry Potter: Magic Awakened" and "Harry Potter: Magic Forever," the footage shows off the game's third-person combat, character creator, and photorealistic recreation of Hogwarts. Despite the positive online response, WB quickly moved to scrub as much leaked footage off the web as possible.

Hilariously, almost 18 months later the game still hasn't been formally announced nor has this footage ever been officially released, though it was rumoured that they were set to reveal the game at their planned E3 stage event in June.

Quite how E3's cancellation affects the game's unveiling remains to be seen, but we're surely just a few months away from it finally getting a feted showing to the general public.
