10 3D Zelda Moments That Left You Speechless

2. The End Credits (Ocarina Of Time)

A perfect ending, to a perfect game. The story had a satisfying conclusion with Ganon sealed into The Dark Realm, and Zelda using the titular ocarina to send Link back to his childhood, where he can warn a young Zelda of the impending danger and stop it before it happens.

Then we see the vast landscapes the player has explored throughout as a more somber version of Zelda’s Lullaby plays in the background, reminding us of just how much we have seen and done. This being the first 3D Zelda game made this moment feel all the more special and real. It’s hard not to get emotional when it turns to scenes of celebration with Hyrule’s citizens and its Seven Sages, and you realize Link can’t be there to share in the joy of his victory.

Returning to The Temple of Time, and Navi departing, her mission complete, it was all a nice way to wrap everything up. We couldn’t wait to see what adventures awaited.
