10 Amazing Video Games You Can Get For Under £5
5. Fallout 3
Yes, we know Fallout 4 is out, and why would you play an earlier version of a game when the latest is out? Well, because it’s absolutely fantastic, that’s why! Fallout 3 was Bethesda’s second game on 360 and PS3 after Oblivion, and it offers everything you have come to expect from the masters of the open world RPG: tons of dialogue options, endless character customisation, eye meltingly beautiful vistas, and devilish humour.
Hours become days and days become weeks as you roam every inch of the huge map discovering all manner of treats, whether that be a unique weapon, a new character, ammo for your arsenal, or a side quest. This feeling of exploration and discovery is complimented by a game world that is simply a joy to be immersed in.
There is also a morality system which, whilst being rather basic, adds an extra layer to your actions and can lead to some humorous exchanges depending on the type of character you are playing. This offers a meaningful replay value to the game as you could complete it more than once with two completely different builds and it is almost like playing a different game.
Of course, Fallout 4 is the more polished option but if you’re looking for a more economical purchase, you could do a hell of a lot worse than this.
