10 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates We NEED To See
1. Better Terraforming
For anyone who has played Animal Crossing: New Horizons a lot, getting your island exactly the way you want it is the ultimate goal, right? Well, chances are you'll agree that this feature is rather terra-fying. The fact the feature is in to begin with is an excellent addition to the AC series as having the same flat islands was rather plain (I know... they curve when you walk but that's not the point).
Unlocking the island designer app once your island hits 3 stars feels amazing. Being told you can change everything from hills to rivers is well worth the time spent getting to that point. But, it isn't without its own issues. In order to excavate land or magically conjure a cliff-side from your pocket, you have to do it all a tile at a time. This wouldn't at all be a problem if the placement or removal of land was a somewhat quick process, but it isn't. Each time, an animation plays, rather than instant placement like in games like Minecraft.
The plus side of it all is that once it's done, it's done. Until, of course, you want to try another look whether because you grow bored of your current layout, or you saw a style online you liked. This means the whole process is needed to be done again.
Hopefully in future, Nintendo make landscaping a little easier, whether through being able to place multiple tiles at once, or removing the animation for placement.
