10 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates We NEED To See
2. Deep-Sea Diving
Now hear me out on this one. Deep-sea diving had horrible controls, yes. But it was different to the usual fishing. Rather than being restricted to the water's edge, you could go in and explore the ocean, all while feeling like you're trying to do the equivalent of controlling a crane with a NES controller.
A lot of new creatures were included in this addition, from seaweed (yes, I said creatures) to spider crabs, as well as providing a much needed change of scenery from time-to-time. Diving was available to do in both the ocean and in tropical seas, with the player needing a wetsuit in order to do so (unless they performed a glitch in certain weather conditions).
Like fishing, bug-catching and fossil digging, diving was another way of collecting things to donate to the museum. It added a lot more to collect, explore and keep busy with, which Animal Crossing is well known for. Regardless, it has only been available in New Leaf so far and with the way things are looking it's staying that way. Hopefully New Horizons will see its own unique feature like this.
