10 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates We NEED To See

3. More Space For Custom Designs

Custom designs are a huge part of this game, not only to have characters dressed in fashionable clothes, but to also have unique decoration in a house or across the island. The custom design app on the NookPhone allows for players to use an in-game drawing app to create art of their own. Or alternatively, players can use the Nintendo app to scan QR codes for already existing designs (and even use a design site to scan a picture and generate one).

Players have a limited number of custom design slots though. Once all of them are full, it's necessary to overwrite an existing design in order to make another one. For players with exceptional artistic talent, or even just a love for plastering their island with goofy designs, this could become an issue.

With apps like Pokémon Home allowing for additional storage outside of the games themselves, it's always a possibility that Nintendo has a plan for this. Although designs that are already placed don't get replaced, it would be nice for players to have a vast library of their own designs.
