10 Annoying Enemies That Almost Ruined Great Video Games

2. Ghost Fish - Ninja Gaiden Series

The Ninja Gaiden series is renowned for its gruelling difficulty, but even that doesn't excuse the existence of these airborne nuisances, which swim through the air as if they were underwater, giving you a decisive disadvantage when fighting them.

The Ghost Fish isn't a terribly powerful enemy, usually going down in one hit, but that's even more of a testament to how incredibly annoying they are in other ways. These elusive little creatures often attack in groups, doing surprising amounts of damage as they nibble at you while you swing wildly at them and try to to miraculously slice them out of the air.

They're small, hard to hit, and swarm easily, with the capability of popping up seemingly out of thin air and knocking you down with their obnoxious little grab-attacks.
