10 Awesome Glitches That Improved Video Games

5. Goldeneye - Interactive Cut-Scenes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5KuNqr6h9U Goldeneye is a fantastic game - in fact, one of the N64's best - and is also blessed with one of the more bizarre glitches that actually gives the player some odd creative freedom. By adjusting the controller options to bind the fire button to a second controller, players can use the second controller to shoot during cut-scenes, because the game does not neglect controller #2's control output. What this essentially allows you to do is interact - to a minimal extent - with what's supposed to be happening; any time Bond has a gun in his hand, you can use it to shoot whoever is in the vicinity, and basically just make some potentially dull cut-scenes - given their age - extremely exciting, and hilarious. It's also a dynamic glitch as it has a lot of different results, and given the game's high incidence of cut-scenes, leaves a lot for the player to explore.
