A lot of moves on this list are angling towards a high-risk, high-reward playstyle - moves that will deal massive damage very quickly, but will leave a player vulnerable to attack if they're thrown out recklessly. Jigglypuff's down special, Rest, is the epitome of being left vulnerable - Jigglypuff literally falls asleep on the job!

As with all of Jigglypuff's moveset as a close-range fighter, Rest only works if you're right next to your opponent - but the tradeoff here is that its startup is very fast, and very difficult to avoid. Though it is hard to get that close, a well-timed Rest will send your opponent flying.

But here's where rest gets tricky. After using your down special, Jigglypuff will fall asleep for three seconds - meaning that as your opponent comes down, you're basically helpless to stop them from descending and wiping the floor with you.

Because of this, Rest is best used from point-blank range in midair - but if you do that, you have to be careful with your positioning unless you want to fall clean off the stage. Keeping all these factors in mind at once makes Rest highly difficult to pull off.
