10 Awesome Video Game Features That Suddenly Went Missing In The Sequel

3. Body Weight - Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

As we mentioned before, Rockstar loves to expand its games with each new release, but that doesn't necessarily mean that all past features will always make it to the sequel. One particularly interesting example from the world of Grand Theft Auto is the body weight system from GTA: San Andreas.

Just like Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, CJ from San Andreas was able to gain or lose weight, depending on what he ate and how much he exercised. The system was quite complex, even more so than its Red Dead counterpart, as on top of getting skinny or fat, CJ also able to develop his muscles by hitting the gym and lifting weights.

Unfortunately, this feature never made it back into later GTA games. No matter how much you run or eat as the protagonists from GTA IV and V, they always stay the same.

It's a shame because who wouldn't want to see Michael rock a perfect six pack or let Franklin grown into a dad bod to fit in with his mentor?
