10 Awesome Video Games You Can't Play Anymore

4. OutRun Online Arcade

You're probably familiar with the classic OutRun racing game franchise, and 2009's OutRun Online Arcade sure was a blast alright.

Released exclusively as a digital title, it revisited the series' signature breakneck arcade-y gameplay with a glossy new lick of HD paint, online multiplayer functionality, and the fan favourite Heart Attack mode, in which players must perform various stunts and actions as commanded.

It was a loving homage to the previous games in the series that also gave the formula a few welcome updates, but roughly two and a half years later, the game was delisted from both PSN and Xbox Live, due to Sega's licensing agreement with Ferrari expiring.

And so, unless you already have the game downloaded to your PSN or Xbox Live account, there's absolutely no above-board way to play it, what with there being no physical version of OutRun Online Arcade ever released.

Even accepting that the multiplayer component wouldn't work, it's still a damn shame that such a neat racing game is effectively dead to new players.
