1. Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit!

There is no video game, however, that is quite as ridiculous and unnecessary as Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit! Incredulously, the game has very little to do with the premise of the TV show, and instead goes off on a barmy tangent that has Tim Allen running around a movie set attacking
dinosaurs with nail guns and a chainsaw that, for some reason, can throw energy waves at enemies (but hey, this game has dinosaurs in it, so let's not quibble over mere
energy waves...) Though this is fun for about five seconds, when it dawns on you that you're playing a video game that has absolutely nothing to do with the Home Improvement TV show - because, honestly, that would be
boring - it seems pretty ridiculous to try and sell itself off of that name. Oh, and because it thinks it's being clever, the instruction manual doesn't even tell you what the buttons do, with an in-game graphic explaining "real men don't need instructions". Essentially, my question is this - why not just make a game about a guy chasing dinosaurs around with a chainsaw and call it something completely different? Now
that I would be down with. Which video games based on TV shows have caused you the most misery? Share with some fellow sufferers in the comments below.
