"There is no peace left. No place where the parasite cannot reach." Finally, a book character. If you've not read the Forerunner saga, you're probably looking at this name with a bit of skepticism. No, I didn't make it up, or I'd be working at 343 Industries by now. Bornstellar, later known as the Iso-Didact, is certainly one of the more dynamic characters. Over the course of the Saga, Born develops from a meagre young Forerunner into almost a clone of the aforementioned Didact; he has his memories, his skills, most things about him. What separates the two is their motivation. Born, the iso-Didact is essentially more humble to his power, often naive. The ur-Didact though has seen war for as long as he can remember, much more bitter, twisted and determined. Born exists as a shadow of the ur-Didact, one yet to come to terms with the horrors of war.
