10 Best PlayStation Exclusive Franchises - Ranked

8. Jak & Daxter

Playstation Franchises
Naughty Dog

Although many rightly consider it as the best out of the original PS2 platforming trio, Jak and Daxter's fatal problem is that the series has been out of action for many years now, with no new entry in sight. We simply need more Jak and Daxter.

Besides that problem, there's pretty good reason why people love Jak and Daxter so much. Even though it started out as a simple, family-friendly platformer, Jak 2 managed to transform the series into something wholly unique.

Although the gameplay of Jak and Daxter is pretty fantastic, it's truly the story and characters that have made it so beloved by fans. Because it took a much more mature route than Ratchet and Clank or Sly Cooper whilst still retaining simple gameplay, Jak and Daxter appealed to a much wider audience.

Naughty Dog might have moved on to bigger and better things in recent years, but that doesn't mean that their work on Jak and Daxter isn't one of their most memorable accomplishments.

Now how about Jak 4?
