10 Best Point And Click Video Game Adventures Ever

9. Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places)

The Adventure:

Following the success of Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards, creator Al Lowe took his bawdy adventure franchise to a new level of saucy with this sequel. The game catches up with a briefly loved-up Larry right at the moment when his latest squeeze gives him the heave ho. This prompts him to embark on an adventure by land and sea in the pursuit of love. Like its predecessor, this game employs the same mechanics €“ players must input all commands into a text parser €“ only this time the (ahem) titillation factor has been bolstered and the stakes for this hapless protagonist are higher, with potential pitfalls including death by a bondage momma, sunburn at sea and being offed by dancing KGB agents. Immensely enjoyable with some canny all-American puzzles.

Puzzling Par Excellence:

You€™ve made it to the island paradise of Nontoonyt by the seat of your suit, but the pesky KGB are preventing you from getting your roam on. Cue a puzzle that involves acquiring a bikini, wig, squirming through a wax and dolling yourself up to wow the Russians. Getting dressed up as a woman has never felt so satisfying when this one comes together.
