6. Just Cause 4 - Take On Me

Red Dead Redemption 2 Easter Egg
Avalanche/SquareEnix

Chances are, as soon as you've read that title, you've started mentally humming the hook to a-ha's one hit wonder. It's hard not to, and Avalanche have had great fun in reminding you of that.

As one-man army with a beard, Rico Rodriquez, explores the vast landscape of fictional Solis, he can climb and explore many buildings and sites. One such building site seems an innocuous as any other, until you get closer...

Descending through the seemingly derelict building, you'll start hearing the Norwegian trio's only noticeable song getting louder as you get closer to the source. Taken the plunge down one more flight of stairs sees the world turn into a similar black and white filter, much like the 1985 music video for 'Take on Me'. Not quite rotoscoped, but a valiant attempt to emulate it, you can stand there and immerse yourself in some 80's nostalgia, complete with dancing fan.

It serves no real purpose or reward, other than being there for the pure nostalgic trip, but it sure is fun nonetheless.
