Square Enix's Tomb Raider reboot was a lot better than it had any right to be. Somehow managing to live up to the legendary franchise's name, Tomb Raider is a brilliant tale of survival and tension. The Definitive Edition is the best way to play the game, thanks to the polished visuals and inclusion of all prior DLC content. While Tomb Raider doesn't quite reach the heights of Naughty Dog's Uncharted series, which was clearly one of the game's main inspirations, it's still a great experience. The more gritty approach pays off remarkably well, presenting a more mature, absorbing adventure than any others in franchise. Above all, it manages to succeed in what many of the later games in the series couldn't manage: making the player feel like they're part of a real adventure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM03TEakgcg
