10 Best Zombie Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

9. Dead Rising 4

Despite removing a lot of the unique elements that made the original Dead Rising games so memorable, the fourth and most recent release was still a solid entry into the franchise.

Returning to beloved fan-favourite character Frank West for the first time in a main game since the original release, the sequel attempted to recapture the charm of the defining first title after the tonal misstep that was Dead Rising 3, and for the most part it did a damn fine job.

Although it hadn't changed much, the core zombie-killing action at the heart of the game was just as satisfying as ever, and the ability to mow down thousands of undead husks never got old. It could have benefited from a bit more arcade-inspired zaniness, but Dead Rising 4 is still a must-play release for fans of the franchise.
