10 Best Zombie Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

8. Killing Floor 2

red dead redemption undead nightmare

A game centred entirely around the appeal of its wave-based horde mode, at first glance the Killing Floor series might just look like yet another Call of Duty Zombies rip off.

But the games are definitely more than just cheap imitations of something better, and the second title in particular actually offers one of the most addictive multiplayer experiences to come from the past few years.

Based around the simple premise of fending off against an increasing number of undead ghouls while earning enough money to become better equipped and an even deadlier killing machine, each and every match is capped off with a cripplingly difficult boss battle that demands teamwork and cooperation to survive.

A deep progression system and character upgrades keep things interesting in the long run too, meaning that the 200th game of Killing Floor 2 is just as enjoyable as the first.
