10 Big Reasons To Revisit Red Dead Redemption

7. Undead Nightmare - DLC Done Right

Rockstar

DLC. Utter the word aloud, and the reactions can range from snarled lips and flared nostrils to stone-faced apathy and vague disgust. It's certainly easy to sympathize with the negative outlook, as it seems that developers drop the ball in regards to DLC more often than not - either failing to deliver on the promise of meaningful content, or simply viewing the whole thing as nothing more than an opportunity to abuse gamers via the over-usage of microtransactions.

Then there's the flip side - the all-too-rare moments when DLC surprises gamers with an entirely new experience worth every cent. It doesn't happen as often as it probably should, but when it does it'll be praised for years; case in point: Undead Nightmare.

With hordes of the shuffling undead roaming the towns in search of succulent flesh, Undead Nightmare is a hilariously refreshing romp through the Old West that will still have you grinning ear-to-ear after all these years.
