10 Biggest 2017 Video Games You Should Be Worried About

3. Destiny 2

Destiny Rise Of Iron
Bungie

After a shaky start a few years ago, Destiny went on to become one of the biggest games of all time. Constantly improving the core experience through the release of increasingly better expansion packs, the Destiny of 2017 looks nothing like the Destiny of 2014, mainly because a true sequel was placed on the backburner to ensure that the franchise had a strong foundation to build upon.

But that sequel is finally coming, and according to Activision's investor calls it's still on track to hit at the end of this year. But while the franchise has made great strides to get where it is today, we shouldn't conveniently forget the mistakes it made along the way.

From cynical attempts at parting you with your cash to saving all of the great story material for pricey expansions, Activision and Bungie have reaped the rewards of being able to drip-feed players new content over the last three years.

So while they'll no doubt avoid making the same mistakes as the previous game and actually ship Destiny 2 with a proper story campaign this time around, you can probably bet that once again you won't be able to get your hands on the full experience or the best content until the first few pieces of DLC have hit the online store.
