10 Biggest Video Game Weapons EVER
4. Sahelanthropus - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Mech suits are pretty common in games, from the armoured core series through to the Titanfall franchise, we love taking control of or fighting against these massive metallic machines.
The metal gear series is famous for it's inclusion of such robotic entities, with many varying designs of mechs designed to launch nuclear strikes from anywhere in the world. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain dialled up the scale when players are faced with Sahelanthropus, a hulking bipedal tank armed with a flamethrower, gatling guns, anti-tank missiles, deployable drones and even an enormous nanofiber sword.
Snake will come into contact with Sahelanthropus at several points throughout the game, eventually facing off with it in a final battle at the end of the story. Assisted by a friendly chopper, you must destroy a selection of cylindrical tanks on the back of the mech, all while dodging it's variety of deadly moves.
Once you've destroyed it once and for all, you can relish in the defeat of the antagonist Skull Face before the credits roll on the fifth main entry in the metal gear franchise.
